Knee jerk reflex politcal responses from the Bush thugs to all and every Israeli move over the last years created a tension that was almost tearing apart the traditional US-EU bonds since WWII. It is with a sigh of relief president Obama breaks with this sensless attitude of unconditional support for 'might is right' solutions to any and all of the Isreali-Palestinian conflicts. Obama is felt putting the USA back on a sounder track again, to which contributes the obliteration of the illegal Guantanamo Camp and the de-legalizing of torture. Pres. Obama is felt bringing back the USA to the status it once used to have based not on military power but on the role as a model for democracies. Promising indeed. The sigh of relief is resounding.
