In the Bush Era Wall Street recklessness was the model for bureaucratic climbers at CIA and star whore generals at the Pentagon. The people around Bush knew they are mediocrities who cannot rise through achievement and thus must do so by beating the next guy by breaking the rules, moral and/or legal, first. It was a bachanal of "thinking outside the [law] box" in order to get ahead. The second term was devoted to cover-up, burying the records and keeping the war on terror going so that it can be passed on to his successor to be blamed for as it collapses. Our Federal Govt. is as corrupt and implicated in criminal incompetence as Wall Street. We live in cover your ass America. Obama is as victim as the rest of us. Att. Gen.
