   I continue to be amazed by the gullibility of weastern public opinion re: Syria.

   Is it not a little strange that the same people responsible for the killing of hundreds of thousands of people In Iraq and Afghnistan are shedding crocodile tears over 100 people killed in Syria — people that may well have been killed by rebel forces despite western claims to the contrary.

   Is there not something peculiar about the US supporting Islamic fanatics against the secular Syrian government at the same time it is klling such people in several other countries?

   Syria’s substantial Christian population is supporting the Assad government because they know very well what will happen to them if the US supported rebels take power.

   BTW is this not same Syrian regime that tortured suspected militants on behalf of the CIA during the Bush Administration.

   I have rarely if ever witnessed such nauseating hypocrisy even in the post 9/11 world.

   Unfortunately even some good minded people have fallen for the the cool aid of evil Assad versus heroic rebels.
