Al Jazeera is a paid entity by anti-Syrian Arab and non-Arab nations. What the rebels want is outside military intervention. Their revolt is causing a great deal of problems, but it does not have the enough backing. A great many Syrians are worried about a revolt that has no known leadership, that has no declared political vision for a post-Assad government, that has no economic policy, that has no security for national territorial integrity or citizen security, that smacks more and more of Salafist movement, and promises only a political vacuum filled with chaos and insecurity. Those that are behind Al Jazeera would welcome a US and/or EU invasion of Syria.
