We’ve got lots of evidence that Iran is a “rational actor” — namely, Iran hasn’t started a war with anyone for 200 years. Howzat for rational? I wish that could be said for Israel and the U.S.
Amadinijad has been doing a superb job of provoking both Israel and the U.S. into demonstrating their own estrangement from reason. And probably that’s why the mullahs put up with him.
