Video: Waiting for Armageddon

Waiting for Armageddon: America’s 50-million strong Evangelical community is convinced that the world’s future is foretold in Biblical prophecy – from the Rapture to the Battle of Armageddon. This astonishing documentary explores their world – in their homes, at conferences, and on a wide-ranging tour of Israel. By interweaving Christian, Zionist, Jewish and critical perspectives along with telling archival materials, the filmmakers probe the politically powerful – and potentially explosive – alliance between Evangelical Christians and Israel…an alliance that may set the stage for what one prominent Evangelical leader calls “World War III.”

So sad to see those lovely young people made into fearful endtimers. Israel does the same, making them hate others and never really able to enjoy life. Normal christians can live good lives witout these limiting restricting myths. the obsession with Israel is some modern Mercan fantasy (schofield bible???).I had never heard of Rapture etc until a few years ago, and I am retired and was brought up as a christian.
The complete crap about the Jews, the demonisation of Palestinians and Lebanese, the pretence that Israel is God’s land in danger, and there are fifty million of these kooks in the 21st century!!
Jerusalem is not even considered a sacred place for Christians and Muslims.
Still watching, but it is painful!

All this God-bothering is such a waste of lives! Notice all the weirdo ads all around the screen.. I suppose google needs a bit more profit.
Listen to the rapturous talk about Islam taking over. don’t they see themselves?
Notice the terrible military, warlike images. Speaking of Hiroshima, one ot the USA’s most shameful episodes.
btw, I am up to 55mins, and have just seen one black face in this film. Must be God’s fault.
I was just thinking: if Christ does return, why would he come to the USA?????
60million copies of the end Times series (NOVELS) in print in the USA!
Hagee is a very dangerous stirrer up of hatred, never admitting that the violence comes from the “christian” USA. I also find the attitude that God will remake the earth, so we don’t have to think about global warming, pollution, overuse etc, or overcoming poverty or inequality; God will fix that when he welcomes the Jews as Christians. Frightening indeed.
