That is NOT true. US airstrikes are the best recruitment campaign ISIS could ever hope for.
Furthermore ISIS being mostly a foreign invention was never really liked or trust by the Sunnis of the Levant.
But if you remember Germany’s bombing of London in WW 2, or the American’s bombing of Vietnam, air strikes are very effective in pissing off local people and uniting them.
So Americans are going to unite pretty much all Sunnis of the Levant under the ISIS flag. Just goes to how you how exceptional Americans really are.
