Palestinian dressed as photographer is shot dead after stabbing soldier

AFP reports: A Palestinian disguised as a news photographer stabbed and wounded a soldier Friday at an entrance to the West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba before being shot dead, the army said.

Military spokesman Arye Shalicar said the way the man was dressed “allowed him to approach the soldier”.

The foreign ministry distributed photos of a man said to be the attacker wearing a shirt with the word “press” stamped on it and a fluorescent yellow vest. [Continue reading…]
