Bernie Sanders is the only Presidential candidate who truly understands the plight of the middle and lower classes of the United States of America. The USA has become an Empire and the American voters want their country back from the oligarchs who represent less than 1% of the population. It is time for Bernie’s “revolution” which will:
1. Eliminate Citizen’s United through appointments to the Supreme Court and/or new legislation;
2. Return the State and Community college to the free institutions that existed during
my school dates in the 50s and 60s;
3. Bail out the thousands of university students and graduates who are buried in high interest debt. Bail them out just as we bailed out AIG, GM, GE, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and dozens of banks in the 2008-09 crash;
4. Convert the inadequate Affordable Care Act (Obama Care) with its 29 million UNinsured and millions more UNDER insured Americans, with Medicare For All.
5. Reduce the size of our bloated military. Close hundreds of the more than 700 military bases the nation maintains around the world. Bring those men and women home and put them to work rebuilding the country’s crumbling roads, bridges, dams, airports, schools, water and sewer systems, etc.
That’s five things among a dozen more actions that Bernie will take when we elect him President. Hilary Clinton can spout details until the cows come home but she won’t get anything done, just as she is actually a failed Secretary of State who used her office as a funnel for funds to the Clinton Foundation and her personal bank account to one of the 1% who are robbing the country blind.
