Lot of Vance Packard’s “Hidden Persuaders” in the speech.
Once the puppeteer finds that he has total control the marionette, he finds that power hard to let go of just like your very well paid control room wizards. We have lots of puppeteers around; preachers, politicians and pitch/con men shillin’ stuff you didn’t even know you needed but ka-ching, you bought it!
Ten commandments on a rock, smoke Marlboro, be cool, and pounding away on Facebook to make money for the puppeteers.
Same greedy message and all that money spreads it around so the greeheads can make more money! The problem is that it is eternal.
