The issue here is no one cares. The US does not hesitate to kill it’s own. I think if you walk down a street and ask passing Americans, it will be rare to find one that gives a shit about anything other than the price of gas. As an American, I find my fellow citizens ignorant of anything of substance and impossible to engage in a meaningful conversation about anything. From the very beginning of the country. we killed anything, including our own people, that stood in our way. Meanwhile, the masses, as in any empire, march to the tune. I admire the people attempting to do something but in the end they will simply wind up frustrated and bitter.
