delia ruhe June 30, 2010 at 5:27 pm: I’ve been watching this guy ever since he gave Perez the finger over the Gaza massacre, and I get more impresst every day. He’s done a good job of cultivating the image of an honest and responsible politician (I know, a contradiction in terms), but maybe that’s because he’s in fact an honest and responsible person.

He’s gonna get trippt up on the question of the PKK unless he follows through with his initial plan to resolve the problem non-militarily. Bombing the Kurds lowers him to the Israeli level, and you can bet that the Israelis will get as much mileage out of it as possible — and then some.
