First sign of the new U.S. political reality — Netanyahu’s swagger

At JTA, Ron Kampeas writes:

The sharpest signal of what last week’s elections meant for Jews came not from Washington but from New Orleans, Nova Scotia and Australia.

In New Orleans, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech Monday calling for moving beyond sanctions to mounting a “credible military threat” against Iran as a means of avoiding war.

“Containment will not work,” Netanyahu said in his address to the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America.

The prime minister’s remarks echoed the precise terminology used by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) in Nova Scotia two days earlier, when he told the Halifax International Security Forum that “containment is off the table.” The likely new majority leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.), referred to a “credible military threat” in the days before the election.

It was a clear sign that Netanyahu feels empowered by the Republican sweep last week of the House of Representatives to trump the Obama administration’s emphasis on peacemaking with the Palestinians with his own priority: confronting Iran.

A “great deal” is all in the timing. Netanyahu, American hawks, and a collapsing economy may all come together. On another thread on different site was a discussion about Obama’s abuse in terms of taking upon the presidency the right to assassinate anyone, something Israel has no problem with. It was suggested that such was a syndrome of the dying empire. Someone else suggested the metaphor of America as a dying star, to wit I pointed out that most dying stars go through a super-nova phase before they collapse, at which point everything around them is vaporized.
My little theory of international Zionism (the conspiracy thereof) is that the establishment of a nation for the Jews has been from the outset only a useful tool of sovereignty but secondary to cover the establishment of a supra-nationalist political movement dominated by an elite small right wing extremist cabal that “uses” the Jews. That Zionist cabal has ambitions of power far beyond the territorial limitations of their state or the protection of their citizens. I’m sure there are many Zionists that certainly do not even see themselves being “used” to serve such a racist, or rather tribalist cabal, or could not even dare to conceive the truth of Nazi collaboration with the Zionist elite in Germany in the mid 1930’s set up the conditions for the Holocaust. But if they were to study the undoctered origins of Israel, and the Zionist history not least the collaboration between the then considered minority extremist Zionists in Germany and the Nazis, to channel Jewish money and support from majority mainstream integrationist Jews from Germany and its dependent states, to finance Eretz Israel, through special jointly controlled banking and trading arrangements known as the “Transfer Agreement”, they might learn something.
If we look to earlier times we can see the fomenting of other upheavals in terms of the Zionists seizing power and influence in the likes of the Bolshevik Revolution. The influence of Zionists in the Great War has been documented at length. The Balfour Declaration was made in a letter from Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour to Baron Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. The letter reflected the position of the British Cabinet, as agreed upon in a meeting on 31 October 1917. It further stated that the declaration was a sign of “sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations.” A later pamphlet entitled “Great Britain, the Jews and Palestine”, written by Samuel Landman who had been in Weizmann’s circle during the war and therefore was well placed to know the ins and outs of the affair, leaves no doubt that the Zionist quid pro quo for the Balfour Declaration was nothing less than to “induce the American President to come into the War” on the British side. Landman complained that this wartime service to the British accounted “in no small measure” for Nazi anti-Semitism, and warned that if the British didn’t deliver a Jewish state in Palestine, the Jews in their despair might try to “pull down the pillars of civilisation.” But we must never forget that Anti-Semitism has always been key and critical to fostering the necessary conditions for the existence of, and fulfilling the aims of Zionism.
Can you see a pattern here of Zionist influence and powers being build on intrigue and repeated descent into massive destruction of world wars fought at the cost of millions of lives by others? Perhaps it is best stated by Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the head of Shas’s Council of Torah Sages and a senior Sephardi adjudicator “Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel,”
So as the American empire now collapses around the weak Obama by accident or intent, and the global military footprint is the last resource left to a nation racked by economic collapse, what deal might be struck with the Zionist devil this time, and who will have to pay in blood and souls?
