Just what the M.E. needs, as with Libya, which is anything but peaceful at the moment, Syria will be engaged in civil war, if the various players don’t back off. The U.S. seems to just blunder from one conflict to another, wasting treasure in the process. Going from a once admired position, to one that is a degraded one, perhaps never to emerge again from this damage, and for what? Diplomacy is lacking, unless it’s going on secretly, which one hopes is the case? If this doesn’t put a cork in the insane thinking that is prevalent today by the Congress and the “O” department, then I guess we will just have to learn how to pick bananas.
