Clinton detailed her position in a letter to Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), first reported on by Politico. Clinton sent the letter in response to a request by Levin for her stance on the issue.

“The U.S. intelligence community has assessed that imposing new unilateral sanctions now ‘would undermine the prospects for a successful comprehensive nuclear agreement with Iran.’ I share that view. The Obama administration never delves into this question of religiously controlled government and the threat it poses. Only the extreme duress of sanctions, and then only over a decade, even forced Iran to acknowledge it had to talk about negotiations and now at the brink of real meaningful changes, taking sanctions off the table in exchange for Iran’s word would be idiotic.

Change Iran Now ???? Who and what is the message above about?

A quick bit of research found links with The National Interest site. “It was a banner year for The National Interest with contributions and interviews from leading thinkers such as Zbigniew Brzezinski, Ian Bremmer and Robert Kaplan -Hmmm not a cast I would be sympathetic with. Change Iran Now expressed rather delusional take is included in that opinion.

The Google Plus page of “Change Iran Now” used to indicate support of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, the political wing of Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), which is designated by the State Dept as a terrorist organization. Why he/she wastes time here I have no idea. For the record, the MEK opposed the Shah and initially supported the revolution.
