If a critical view of Trump makes someone a Clinton apologist, then the polls would indicate that the majority of Americans now fall into that category.
In reality, a lot of people will end up voting for Clinton not because they are ignoring her failings but because they believe Trump as president would be a disaster. Trump as a candidate is a nightmare, but hopefully that nightmare will be over in just over four months.
What is Hillary Clinton’s greatest virtue? Having been demonized to such a degree and having won such lukewarm support, she stands a fairly good chance of turning out better than expected. Moreover, it’s long past time America should have a woman president.
