Exile in Germany for Mubarak?

Der Spiegel reports:

Will Hosni Mubarak travel to Germany as a patient as part of a graceful exit strategy for the Egyptian president? Plans for a possible hospital stay here appear to be more concrete than previously believed. SPIEGEL ONLINE has learned that a luxury clinic near Baden-Baden is being favored.

The United States government’s scenario for an end to the political chaos in Egypt appears to be this: President Hosni Mubarak travels to Germany for a “prolonged health check” that would offer the 82-year-old a dignified departure. Over the weekend, the New York Times reported that secret talks to that effect were being held between the US government and Egyptian military officials.

According to information obtained by SPIEGEL ONLINE, plans for a possible hospital stay in Germany are far more concrete than had been assumed so far. Talks are already being held with suitable hospitals, particularly with the Max-Grundig-Klinik Bühlerhöhe in the southwestern town of Bühl near Baden-Baden, SPIEGEL ONLINE has learned from sources close to the clinic. The hospital management declined to comment.

Possible confirmation, that this was in the works before the demonstrations started, hence the top Military brass of the Egyptian Army being in Washington when it broke out. Also points to the Youth movements individuals being there prior too. Who ever is pulling the strings behind the curtain, is pretty slick, if I may say so. Of course, what the official version ends up to be, well, tune in later for the results.

Mubarak’s presidential guard have what looks like an armoured brigade dug in around the presidential palace, but the president is in Sharm el Shiekh? Seems a bit of a disconnect, but it would explain why the Egyptian army moved into Sharm el Shiekh in force when the protests started. Perhaps separating Mubarak from his palace guard was a key element in negotiating a regime change. Somebody was slick, but clearly it wasn’t anyone in Washington.

The dog Obama and his dog Egypt envoy are not calling for the dog Mubarak to resign.

The most puzzeling question to me is, on what soil that idea has grown. Has someone spoken up on this issue to the german goverment? Was that idea probably born in germany? Maybe it’s still a hoax nevertheless? I’m curious how this case turn out.

“Has someone spoken up on this issue to the german goverment?”

Well don’t forget that Mubarak was already in Germany last summer for treatment for his pancreatic cancer. So it would appear one of the logical places to go.

As for the Presidential Palace – Sharm el Shiekh link yeah I probably seems like the Army are making it look like the President is in his palace when in fact he is safe in Sharm el Shiekh. Possible decoy for the protesters.

Mubarak, shmubarak…the real issue is the whole Democratic National Party and the $billions they are sending to foreign accounts. As he leaves many continuing $billions are at stake in state and military pockets. It is said that Mubarak family alone has $80 billions. The only force that can remove all those shysters made&helped by USA if the modernists fail is is Allah and Jihad guided by Muslim Brotherhood. Time is not an issue to MBers; the will to struggle of ALL Arab World is the issue. They are not ready to rule now and wait for ALL Arabs to find themselves in an either/or choice as when PanArabism died with Sadat. It will be a far more rational Jihad than alQaeda’s, to be sure, but when it comes, Israel will feel the squeeze and the hot breath of revenge on its neck. The young modernists will go the way of the PanArabists: to Jihad, once they have no other option, seeing that modernization is not possible because of all those crooks that won’t surrender their parasitic state. Netanyahu chose the shysters over the modernists….perhaps himself returning to his old shyster ways.

A graceful exit strategy for a torturer, a killer and other criminal election frauder? In some way he was not better than Saddam Hussein, who did not even get the chance of a fair trial. The difference is that Mubarak / Suleiman are in bed with the western terrorist states USA/ England/Israel/ and Saddam Hussein was not. 70 millions of Egyptians were oppressed. Gaza is still under the israeli barbarous middle age siege. The Rafah Crossing is not open yet. Suleiman, the torturer, is still in power. Israel still continues its big crimes against the Palestinian people , the brothers an sisters of the egyptian people. One of the most important actions of the brave revolutionnary egyptian people was to liberate their brothers and sisters in Gaza and all political prisonners . This has not been done yet. The big human rights criminal Suleiman is still ordering the killing of the fearless and unprotected protesters and keeping hermetically closed the Gaza border. The big crimes are still going on…while Mubarak will h

while Mubarak will have excellent health care in Germany. The tortured prisoners should have their treatment in such a place in Baden-Baden and not their torturer. If justice once will be a reality.
