Haaretz reports:
As the second “Gaza Freedom Flotilla” gets ready to sail this week, Irish Foreign Minister Eamon Gilmore urged Israel to avoid any repeat of last year’s actions against the convoy, Irish media reported Sunday.
“Israel must exercise all possible restraint and avoid any use of military force if attempting to uphold their naval blockade,” Gilmore, who also holds the post of trade minister, said after meeting with Israeli Ambassador to Dublin Boaz Moda.
“In particular, I would expect that any interception of ships is conducted in a peaceful manner and does not endanger the safety of our citizens or other participants,” he added, reiterating the country’s position that the Gaza blockade was “unjust and counterproductive” and that the violence that marked last year’s flotilla venture was “completely unacceptable and unjustified.”
Eamon Gilmore spoke out rightly to urge Israel to avoid any repeat of last year’s bloody actions against the second humanitarian convoy to the besieged people of Gaza. The barbaric military actions by Israel against all human assistance to the palestinian victims of the israeli stranglehold has to be condemned severly by the international community, in order not to fall into the israeli racist ideology. It is deplorable that the european powers accept the racist and segregationist israeli power in their trade community, which is against their fondational ethics.
I wonder if the “O” will allow the Israelis to sink or kill the members on the American ship? I wonder if the Israelis will chance doing that to any ship?
The hopey changey “O” is a faker
The Administration of the Spineless One has made their position clear. The US State Dept has basically given the green light to Israel to do whatever it wants to the Gaza bound ship. Furthermore, if Israel could get away with killing passengers on the last ship, what reason is there for them not to stop the Audacity of Hope.
Significantly, it is the actions of the Zionist entity that is the greater danger to their continued apartheid policies, than the actions of the Palestinians themselves.
